The 77th Concours de Genève's flute edition is set to conclude in Geneva, Switzerland on November 4, 2023. Established in 1939, Concours de Genève is a prestigious international music competition that focuses on identifying, promoting, and supporting young, gifted musicians, equipping them with the necessary tools to kickstart their international careers. Each year, the competition features various primary disciplines, including piano, flute, oboe, clarinet, cello, viola, string quartet, voice, percussion, and composition (held every two years).
Currently, the 77th Concours de Genève's flute edition is underway. The Violin Channel serves as the official media and broadcast partner, offering live streaming of the final round of the flute competition, with recordings available for later viewing.

The Flute jury includes Silvia Careddu (Chair), Denis Bouriakov, Magali Mosnier, Loïc Schneider, Seiya Ueno, Henrik Wiese, and Hyeri Yoon.
The Flute finals will take place at Victoria Hall on November 4, and the Prizewinners concert will follow on November 5.
The first prize winner will receive CHF 20,000, the second prize winner will be awarded CHF 12,000, and the third prize winner will receive CHF 8,000. Additional awards, such as the Audience Prize, Young Audience Prize, and Students Prize, will also be presented.
Furthermore, the competition offers career development opportunities for its laureates. These talented musicians will benefit from two years of management support from the Sartory Artists agency. During this period, laureates will embark on an international concert tour and have the chance to participate in the Concours de Genève Prizewinners Workshop, focusing on various aspects such as performance, health, career management, image, and social media.
