Sir Bryn Terfel has been announced as one of the mentors for 'The Voice Wales,' according to updates shared on social media. Terfel is slated to occupy one of the iconic red chairs on the show. Radio 1 DJ Sian Eleri will host the Welsh edition, marking it as the 75th international adaptation of The Voice format in Welsh.

The victor of this rendition will secure a year-long mentoring program and additional opportunities to showcase their talent on S4C shows. Aspiring contestants have until June 21 to submit their applications. Meanwhile, Terfel's upcoming schedule includes performances in Leipzig and at the Grange Park Opera this summer, followed by roles in "Tosca" productions in London and Munich next season.
