The Stuttgart International Violin Competition, organized by the Guadagnini Foundation and the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts, welcomes violinists from around the world who are 28 years old or younger.
The total prize money for the 2024 competition is 60,000 Euros. The winner of the first prize will receive several significant performance opportunities, the loan of a Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin from 1746, and artist management for the following three years.
The jury for the 2024 competition will consist of Ingolf Turban (President), Shmuel Ashkenasi, Ulf Wallin, Hagai Shaham, Suyoen Kim, Rudolf Koelman, Dr. Harald Eggebrecht, Josef Rissin, and Stefan Fehlandt.
