The Santa Fe Symphony is pleased to announce the Annual Concerto Competition for the year 2024. We invite all young musicians, aged 14 to 22, who specialize in orchestral and choral performances to participate.

This competition is specifically designed for high school and college instrumentalists proficient in symphonic instruments. Interested participants can submit a YouTube link showcasing a 5 to 7-minute performance of a classical concerto (Please note that piano submissions are not accepted at this time).

While there is a $20 application fee, applicants facing financial constraints are encouraged to submit their applications promptly, and if necessary, reach out to [email protected] for assistance with the application fees.

Eligibility:

All applicants must be residents of New Mexico.
Applicants should be orchestral or choral musicians (Piano submissions are not accepted). For any queries, please contact [email protected].
Participants must be available for the in-person finals round, as well as the rehearsal and performance specific to their division.
Applicants are responsible for arranging their own accompanist for both virtual and in-person rounds. If securing an accompanist is not possible, applicants are still encouraged to record their audition without accompaniment and proceed with the application.
Audition videos should be between 5 to 7 minutes in length and must be uploaded to YouTube.
