Oksana Lyniv has been honored with the Bavarian Constitutional Order.

She received the award following a performance of "Tosca" on September 26, 2024.

The company stated, "After yesterday's performance of 'Tosca,' we were thrilled to welcome the President of the Bavarian State Parliament, Ilse Aigner, to the stage of the national theatre to present the Order. Oksana Lyniv was recognized for her exceptional artistic contributions, particularly as the first female conductor of the Bayreuth Festival, as well as for her passionate dedication to teaching classical music and promoting young talent in the field."

Lyniv serves as the Music Director of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and has conducted at prestigious venues such as the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, and Paris Opera, among others.
