Bookings for the 45th edition of the renowned Rossini Opera Festival, scheduled from August 7 to August 23, 2024, in the picturesque port city of Pesaro, the Capital of Italian Culture 2024, must be completed by December 15, 2023. This time, the festival will showcase not three, but four productions: Bianca e Falliero (directed by Jean-Louis Grinda), L’equivoco stravagante (presented by the comedic duo Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier), Ermione (directed by Johannes Erath), and the interplanetary masterpiece Il barbiere di Siviglia (directed by Pier Luigi Pizzi).

The lineup includes several headlining performers, with Juan Diego Flórez, the tenor and current artistic director of the Festival, taking the stage as Orestes in Ermione by Rossini. The highlight of the event promises to be the concert version of Il Viaggio a Reims, featuring an impressive lineup of 16 artists, including Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, Karine Deshayes, Dmitry Korchak, Erwin Schrott, Nicola Alaimo, and Vito Priante.
