The Teatro La Fenice has announced that Michele Mariotti will conduct the annual New Year’s concert.

The concert will take place on December 28, 30, and 31, 2025, as well as on January 1, 2026. The chorus will be conducted by Alfonso Caiani.

The evening performance on January 1 will be broadcast on Rai 1.

The list of soloists will be revealed at a later time.

Mariotti is the Musical Director of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and a recipient of the 36th Abbiati Prize for Best Orchestra Conductor. He has conducted at prestigious venues such as the Teatro alla Scala, Paris Opéra, Wiener Staatsoper, Royal Opera House, Bayerische Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Salzburg Festival, the Rossini Opera Festival, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, among others.
