The Santa Fe Opera has unveiled two complimentary community events for its 2024 Festival Season. In collaboration with 95.5 KHFM Classical Public Radio, they will offer free, live radio broadcasts of the opening nights for the season. These broadcasts will air at 6 pm MDT on Mondays from July 29 to August 26 and will be available for on-demand streaming for 30 days afterward on santafeopera.org and khfm.org.
The schedule for these broadcasts is:
– “La traviata” on July 29
– “Don Giovanni” on August 5
– “The Righteous” on August 12
– “Der Rosenkavalier” on August 19
– “The Elixir of Love” on August 26
Additionally, an Opera in the Park screening of “The Elixir of Love,” featuring Yaritza Véliz, Jonah Hoskins, Luke Sutliff, Alfredo Daza, and Cadie J. Bryan, is set for September 15 at Railyard Park. Seating will begin at 4 p.m., and the performance will be in Italian with English and Spanish subtitles.
