The Festival de Beaune has announced that this year's event, taking place from July 5 to 28, will honor the memory of Jodie Devos, who passed away in June. A special evening on July 21, led by the Festival team alongside Stéphane Fuget and musicians from Les Epopées, will pay tribute to the soprano.

Devos was scheduled to appear at Beaune this year in the production of "Alcina" on July 19 with Stéphane Fuget and Les Epopées, as well as to perform a recital of Handel's music on July 21.

She passed away on June 16 at the age of 35 after battling cancer. Devos was renowned for her performances at Opéra Comique, Opéra Royal de Wallonie, Opéra National de Montpellier, and other prestigious venues.
