Boosey & Hawkes, now part of Concord Music Publishing, is pleased to announce the addition of Matthias Pintscher to its esteemed roster of composers.

Pintscher, known for his extensive collaboration as a conductor of numerous contemporary works from Boosey & Hawkes’ catalog, will now focus on composing his own music in partnership with the company. His upcoming music theatre project, slated for its world premiere in 2026, will be published by Boosey & Hawkes.

Pintscher is renowned for his compositions, which include several operas such as “L’espace Dernier,” “Thomas Chatterton,” and “Gesprungene Glocken,” as well as numerous solo and choral works. His achievements in composition have earned him numerous awards and scholarships since a young age. Notably, Pintscher has served as Artist and Composer in Residence at prestigious venues including the Suntory Hall Summer Festival, Cleveland Orchestra, Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Tonhalle Orchestra Zürich, and festivals in Salzburg and Lucerne, among others. His conducting career has seen engagements with leading orchestras and opera houses worldwide, including the Berlin Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and more.
