The English National Opera has revealed that Matthew Quinn will be taking on the role of the new Chorus Director.

Quinn expressed his excitement in a social media post: “I’m thrilled to finally share that I’ll be joining the English National Opera this season as their new Chorus Director! It’s a dream come true to work with a National company I hold in such high regard, alongside their world-renowned chorus. I’m also eager to be part of such a creative and forward-thinking musical team. We’ll start our journey at the Coliseum in September with La Bohème!”

Quinn brings extensive experience in opera and musical theatre, having collaborated with NI Opera, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Ulster Touring Opera, Northern Ireland Opera, the Hallé Orchestra, the International College of Musical Theatre, and the National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland.
