Manon Papasergio secured the top position in the competition held in Köthen, Germany. The 9th edition of the Bach-Abel International Viola da Gamba Competition recently concluded, commemorating the 300th anniversary of the German composer Carl Friedrich Abel, a renowned player of the viola da gamba. Musicians of any nationality born after 1988 were eligible to participate.

The prize distribution for this year's competition is as follows:

1st Prize and 6,000 Euros: Manon Papasergio
2nd Prize and 4,500 Euros: Amarilis Duenas Castán
3rd Prize and 3,000 Euros: Garance Boizot
