22 November, 2024

The Young People’s Chorus of New York City has appointed Jason Zahorchak as its new Chief Operating Officer.

In this role, Zahorchak will collaborate closely with Founder and Artistic Director Francisco J. Núñez, as well as the Board of Directors, to strengthen the organization’s infrastructure. They aim to ensure that every young chorister has access to the resources and opportunities necessary for their success. Zahorchak will lead the development of the organization’s operational strategy, support its artistic and educational initiatives, and drive growth and efficiency.

With over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Zahorchak is recognized for his work in transforming key areas such as finance, development, communications, and human resources. His appointment comes at a crucial time, as the Young People’s Chorus of New York City continues to grow, serving over 2,000 children across New York and expanding its global influence.

“Jason’s dedication to creating inclusive environments and his extensive expertise in nonprofit management perfectly align with YPC’s mission to offer young people from all cultural and economic backgrounds pathways through the arts,” said Núñez in a press release. “His experience will help us enhance our programs and lay the groundwork for future growth, allowing us to reach even more young people in the years ahead.”
