This month, we are delighted to announce the arrival of Mike Levine as the new Executive Director of the MSO. Mike's professional journey in the theater industry began back in 1987 at the New Repertory Theater in Newton, MA, where he gained valuable experience in theater management. Since then, he has held various positions, including General Manager at the Portland Stage Company, Executive Director of the LARK Society for Chamber Music, Co-Project Manager for the St. Lawrence Arts Parish Hall Theater Renovations, and Founding Producing Director of Acorn Productions in Portland.

Apart from his extensive involvement in theater and the arts, Mike has also dedicated many years to teaching high school English, most recently at Windham High School. His broad skill set encompasses fundraising and outreach, making him a valuable addition to the team.

Tim Kenlan, President of the MSO's Board, expressed his anticipation, saying, "We eagerly anticipate witnessing Mike collaborate with the board and the orchestra, building upon the impressive groundwork laid by Carol Preston during her five-year tenure, and the accomplishments of John Teller before her."
