Patrick Summers has joined the IMG Artists roster for General Management!

He will be represented by Romana Jaroff, the Managing Director of IMG Artists Americas.

For the past twenty years, Summers has been with the Houston Grand Opera, where he has held the position of Music Director since 1998. During his tenure, the company has gained global acclaim for its innovative productions and dedication to new works. He recently announced his decision to step down, and in 2026, he will take on the role of Music Director Emeritus at Houston Grand Opera.

Summers has also conducted at some of the world’s leading opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Opera Australia, and Lyric Opera of Chicago. Additionally, he has guest conducted with prominent orchestras such as the LA Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, and the Munich Radio Orchestra.

Since 2019, he has co-directed the revamped opera program, Aspen Opera Theater and Vocal Arts, alongside Renée Fleming at the Aspen Music School.
