Glenn Seven Allen Set to Dazzle Michigan with ‘The American Tenor’ Debut on November 2

Tenor Glenn Seven Allen is poised to launch “The American Tenor” on November 2, 2024, at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts in his home state of Michigan.

Accompanied by a 22-piece orchestra, the tenor will present a variety of crossover hits in different languages. For instance, U2's “With or Without You” will be sung in Italian, while “Bring Him Home” from “Les Misérables” will be performed in French.

“I’m excited to return to my Michigan roots and express my deep love for theater and opera on this stage,” said Glenn Seven Allen, who hails from East Lansing and spends part of his time on Mackinac Island, according to an official press release. “This debut is a dream come true, and I hope it marks the beginning of many more chances to bring exceptional performances back to the state that has influenced me as an artist.”

The tenor will also share insights and stories during the concert.

The event will start at 7 p.m. local time.
