The Vail Music Festival has revealed that the Chamber Orchestra of Europe (COE) will mark its inaugural appearance at the festival with a series of three concerts on June 19, 21, and 22, 2025, kicking off the 2025 Festival season.

Conducted by Matthias Pintscher, the newly appointed music director of the Kansas City Symphony from Germany, the COE will showcase acclaimed guest performers: pianist Yefim Bronfman, cellist Alisa Weilerstein, and violinist Blake Pouliot.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Anne-Marie McDermott, the artistic director of Bravo! Vail, stated, “I am thrilled to announce the long-awaited debut of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe at Bravo! Vail in 2025.”

Simon Fletcher, the general manager of COE, commented, “We are delighted to join the 2025 Bravo! Vail Music Festival. Our three performances next year mark the realization of plans conceived a decade ago. Despite setbacks due to the pandemic, we eagerly anticipate a memorable residency with outstanding artists Matthias, Yefim, Alisa, and Blake leading the way. We anticipate delivering impactful performances filled with emotion and spirit, enhanced by the breathtaking landscape of Vail. Rarely seen in the US, we hope audiences will seize this opportunity to experience our exceptional orchestra. We eagerly anticipate the chance to connect with you.”
