The Teatro Civico Roverto de Silva di Rho is set to showcase Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” on October 25 and 27, 2024.

This performance will commemorate the 100th anniversary of Puccini’s passing and will be directed by Stefano Monti. It is a collaboration among IMARTS – International Music and Arts, Teatro Civico Roberto de Silvia di Rho, Fondazione “U. Artioli” Mantova Capitale Europea dello Spettacolo, and Teatro Splendor di Aosta.

The cast features Daria Masiero as Cio-Cio-San, Carlotta Vichi as Suzuki, Giuseppe DiStefano as Pinkerton, Filippo Polinelli as Sharpless, Carlo Checchi as Goro, and Giacomo Pieracci as Lo Zio Bonzo. Riccardo Bianchi will conduct the Filarmonica Italiana.

Following its run in Rho, the production will also be presented at the Teatro Sociale in Mantova, Teatro Splendor, and Teatro Valentino Garavani.
