In Canada, Pacific Opera Victoria has elevated its chorus director, Giuseppe (Joey) Pietraroia, who has been with the company for two decades, to the position of principal conductor, overseeing the entire organization. In addition to his role at Pacific Opera, Pietraroia also serves as the conductor for the Victoria Symphony.
