The upcoming Viennese Opera Ball in New York City, scheduled for May 10, 2024, at the Plaza Hotel, promises a stellar lineup of opera luminaries. Among them are American tenor Limmie Pulliam, Grammy Award-winning American baritone Lucas Meachem, graciously appearing thanks to the Metropolitan Opera, as well as Grammy Award-winning American soprano Leah Crocetto. Joining them are German soprano Johanna Will and American bass-baritone Christian Pursell.

This year's ball draws inspiration from the opera "Aida" and aims to support the music therapy program at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, with the backing of the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. Steering the event as Gala Chairs are Denise Rich and Jean Shafiroff.

Last year's gala, themed around the opera "Carmen," featured performances by opera talents Stephen Costello, Joyce El-Khoury, Nathalie Peña-Comas, and Johanna Will.
