The BBC has announced the launch of the second edition of its Open Music training program. This initiative aims to provide practical training, expert guidance, and mentorship to 30 selected individuals in various aspects of classical music, including radio production, sound engineering, presenting, and digital content creation.

BBC Radio 3 Controller, Sam Jackson, expresses enthusiasm for the upcoming program, highlighting the success of last year's participants. The training scheme is scheduled to take place from September 2023 to September 2024. The culmination of this program will be the creation of a BBC Proms program by the trainees selected for this year's edition.
