The 50th edition of the Festival della Valle d’Itria will commence on July 17, 2024, featuring Bellini’s opera “Norma” at the Palazzo Ducale di Martina Franca. This milestone edition will showcase Bellini’s renowned work in Roger Parker’s Ricordi edition, under the direction of Fabio Luisi and a new production by Nicola Raab.

The principal roles will be performed by Jacquelyn Wagner as Norma, Valentina Farcas as Adalgisa, and Airam Hernandez as Pollione. Additional cast members include Saori Sugiyama, Zachary McCulloch, and Goran Jurić, with Marco Medved leading the chorus.

Performances of “Norma” are scheduled four times, concluding on August 2, 2024. The festival will also feature productions of “Alcina” and “Aladino e la lampada magica.”
