Michael Mofidian has signed with OWL Artist Management for General Management.
A rising star in the opera world, Mofidian is a bass-baritone known for his broad vocal range and commanding stage presence.
This season, he will perform in leading roles, including the title character in Il Turco in Italia at Glyndebourne and Le nozze di Figaro with the Welsh National Opera. He will also make his debut at the Bayerische Staatsoper as Masetto in a new production of Don Giovanni.
Mofidian has already graced renowned stages such as the Teatro Real, the Royal Opera, the Grange Festival, the Salzburg Festival, and Scottish Opera. His performance credits include appearances at the BBC Proms and collaborations with major ensembles like the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra, and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
He has worked with esteemed pianists including Malcolm Martineau, Julius Drake, Keval Shah, Jâms Coleman, Sholto Kynoch, and Anna Tilbrook. His recital performances have been featured at prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall, Queen's Hall in Edinburgh, City Halls in Glasgow, as well as the Oxford Lieder and Leeds Lieder festivals.
