Superstar soprano Renée Fleming will return to the Palais Garnier for a recital on March 9, 2025.

Joined by pianist Howard Watkins, the duo will perform a diverse program featuring works by Kevin Puts, Howard Shore, Björk, Händel, Nico Muhly, Canteloube, Maria Schneider, and Villas-Lobos.

Fleming’s last appearance at the Opéra National de Paris was in the 2023 production of Nixon in China. Her earlier performances with the company include roles in Arabella, Capriccio, Otello, Alcina, Don Giovanni, Rusalka, Manon, Faust, and Le Nozze di Figaro, the opera that marked her debut with the company in 1991. She was recently appointed Festival Director for the 2025 Cincinnati May Festival.

The concert will begin at 8 p.m. local time.
