Червень 20, 2025

On June 24, 2025, the Polish National Opera will bring its 2024-25 season to a close with a captivating performance of Mozart’s Requiem.

This special concert, devoted entirely to Mozart’s works, will feature his iconic Requiem, complemented by Ave verum corpus and the concert aria “Vorrei spiegarvi, oh Dio!”

The Requiem will be brought to life by vocalists Izabella Fabrycka, Nataliia Tepla, Adam Walasek, and Michal Romanowski, with Joanna Moskowicz performing the concert aria. Under the baton of Patrick Fournillier, the Orchestra of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera will deliver a memorable performance.

Looking ahead, the opera company’s next season will include productions of “Die Frau ohne Schatten,” “Falstaff,” “Simon Boccanegra,” “Madama Butterfly,” and “Nabucco.”

These upcoming performances promise to showcase a diverse range of operatic masterpieces, blending dramatic storytelling with musical excellence. “Die Frau ohne Schatten” by Richard Strauss will offer a profound exploration of human emotions, while Verdi’s “Falstaff” and “Simon Boccanegra” will highlight the composer’s genius in contrasting comedic and tragic narratives. Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” will bring its heart-wrenching tale of love and sacrifice, and Verdi’s “Nabucco” will captivate audiences with its powerful choruses and historical drama. This ambitious lineup reflects the Polish National Opera’s commitment to delivering world-class productions that resonate with both seasoned opera enthusiasts and new audiences alike.
