The Pasadena Chorale has received the 2024 American Prize in Choral Performance.
This award is presented by the American Prize National Nonprofit Competition in the Performing Arts, which was established in 2010. Since its inception, it has granted over $150,000 in prizes to thousands of qualified participants from all 50 states.
“We are incredibly excited and honored that the Pasadena Chorale has been recognized with the 2024 American Prize in Choral Performance,” stated Jeffrey Bernstein, the Founding Artistic & Executive Director, in an official press release. “In the last 15 years, the Chorale has transformed from a small group of devoted singers into a dynamic ensemble that enriches our community through free concerts and music education programs. This national accolade reflects the hard work of our singers and the steadfast support of our audience. What began as a local aspiration has evolved into a nationally recognized choral group, and I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together.”
The Pasadena Chorale’s 2024-25 season will continue this December with the performance titled “Twilight of the Year.”
