Renowned soprano Laura Ansaldi has been awarded the esteemed Arts-Sciences-Lettres (ASL) medal for her remarkable contributions to the world of opera and the arts. The accolade was bestowed upon her during a distinguished ceremony on October 6, 2024, held in the historic Salon Opéra at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand Hotel, a venue celebrated for its rich cultural heritage.

Festivities commenced the previous day, October 5, with an exclusive event at the Embassy of Oman in Paris. The gathering, co-hosted by H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed bin Nasser al Araimi, the Omani Ambassador to France, and the Swiss Foundation Bridging Nations, focused on fostering inclusion, cross-cultural dialogue, and sustainability through artistic expression.

During the event, Ansaldi delivered a performance dedicated to the memory of His Late Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the people of Oman, and the transformative power of women in society. At the ASL Grand Awards Ceremony, she also shared the stage with Ukrainian pianist Alexey Botvinov for a captivating performance.

Reflecting on the honor, Ansaldi described it as “a pinnacle of my career… The journey to this moment was rewarding in itself, but to receive such recognition is unforgettable. It’s the most profound milestone of my professional life.”

Ansaldi is set to make her highly anticipated debut at Carnegie Hall later this month.
