Renowned soprano Laura Ansaldi has been awarded the esteemed Arts-Sciences-Lettres (ASL) medal for her remarkable contributions to the world of opera and the arts. The accolade was bestowed upon her during a distinguished ceremony on October 6, 2024, held in the historic Salon Opéra at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand Hotel, a venue celebrated for its rich cultural heritage.

Festivities commenced the previous day, October 5, with an exclusive event at the Embassy of Oman in Paris. The gathering, co-hosted by H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed bin Nasser al Araimi, the Omani Ambassador to France, and the Swiss Foundation Bridging Nations, focused on fostering inclusion, cross-cultural dialogue, and sustainability through artistic expression.

During the event, Ansaldi delivered a performance dedicated to the memory of His Late Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the people of Oman, and the transformative power of women in society.
