San Francisco Opera’s upcoming 2024 Summer Season will feature Händel’s “Partenope,” presented in Christopher Alden’s 2014 staging, with musical direction by Christopher Moulds, a renowned expert in baroque music.

The cast will include soprano Julie Fuchs making her American debut as the titular character, Partenope, alongside Carlo Vistoli in his U.S. debut, Nicholas Tamagna, Daniela Mack, Alek Shrader, and Hadleigh Adams.

Performances are scheduled for five dates, running from June 15 to June 28, 2024. Additionally, the matinee performance on June 23 will be streamed live at 2 p.m. PT, with on-demand viewing available for 48 hours starting from June 24 at 10 a.m. PT.
