The Fundación Victoria de los Ángeles has been awarded the Premio Ópera Actual.

The prize was presented on December 17, 2024, at the Auditorio AXA in Barcelona to Helena Mora, the president of the Fundación Victoria de los Ángeles. She accepted the award from journalist Javier Pérez Senz.

The evening featured performances by Alexandra Nowakowski, Lucía García Guerrero, Emilia Pérez, Yeraldín León, and Sebastiá Serr.

This recognition is the latest in a series of honors bestowed upon the Fundación. Earlier in 2024, on November 27, the organization was awarded the Medalla de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes at the Real Fábrica de Artillería in a ceremony attended by Spain's monarchs. The Fundación has also received a medal from the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation.

In addition, Ópera Actual recognized mezzo-soprano María José Montiel and soprano Laia Vallés.
