Étude Arts has welcomed conductor Jordan de Souza to its roster for management services. Recently, de Souza assumed the roles of General Music Director at Theater Dortmund and Chief Conductor of the Dortmund Philharmoniker for a five-year term.

Described as a leading figure among contemporary conductors, he maintains a busy schedule collaborating with renowned opera houses, symphony orchestras, and festivals worldwide. De Souza, known for his dynamic presence and artistic vision, has led performances at esteemed venues such as the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Glyndebourne, Bayerische Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Seattle Opera, and Dutch National Opera. Born in Toronto, de Souza began his conducting career at McGill University and has since been acclaimed for his interpretations of choral works and his role in fostering new audiences' appreciation for classical music.
