CortinAteatro, in partnership with Cortina d’Ampezzo, is set to present Lehàr’s operetta “The Merry Widow.” This performance will take place on August 17 at the Alexander Girardi Hall in Cortina d’Ampezzo, featuring a new translation by Corrado Abbati.
The cast includes baritone Fabrizio Macciantelli, soprano Mariska Bordoni, and tenor Davide Zaccherini, with Alberto Orlandi conducting the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta. Additionally, the evening will feature a ballet performance by the Parma-based company founded by Lucia Giuffrida and Francesco Frola.
The production, directed by Francesco Frola, is brought to life by InScena Art Design.
