Chrysoline Dupont has been appointed as the next director of the Opéra National du Rhin, according to a report in Le Figaro. She will succeed Alain Perroux, who is moving to a new role at the Grand Théâtre de Genève.
Dupont has previously served as a Project Manager at the Opéra de Paris and has been involved with the Festival Aix-En-Provence, the Paris Chamber Orchestra, and the Opéra-Comique.
Her tenure is scheduled to commence in 2026.
In the upcoming season, the Opéra National du Rhin plans to stage productions including "Picture a Day Like This," "Sweeny Todd," "Werther," and "Les Contes d’Hoffmann."
