The Austrian musician, Andreas Ottensamer, has become a part of the artist management agency's roster for general management. Within the Askonas Holt agency, he will be represented by Edward Pascall, Ollie Haines, and Joy Pidsley.

Having held the position of principal clarinet with the Berliner Philharmoniker since 2011, Ottensamer expanded his artistic endeavors in 2021, making his conducting debut and receiving the Neeme Järvi Prize from the Gstaad Festival Conducting Academy.

Ottensamer has an extensive history as a soloist and chamber musician, collaborating with notable artists such as Yuja Wang, Seong-Jin Cho, Lisa Batiashvili, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Phillippe Jaroussky, Gautier Capuçon, and Sol Gabetta.

His performances span various prestigious festivals, including the Salzburger Festspiele, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Rheingau Musik Festival, and Festival de Pâques d’Aix en Provence. Additionally, Ottensamer serves as the artistic director of the Bürgenstock Festival.

In the upcoming 2023/24 season, Ottensamer is set to make conducting debuts with renowned orchestras such as the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic, Kammerakademie Potsdam, Sofia Philharmonic, Basel Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonisches Orchester Erfurt, Münchner Kammerorchester, Janáček Philharmonic, and the Liszt Chamber Orchestra.

He will also take on the role of Artist-in-Residence with the Orchestre Metropolitain, leading a performance featuring Schumann’s Symphony No.1, Brahms’ Tragic Overture, and Augusta Holmès’ La nuit et l’amour.

Recent highlights include Ottensamer's return to conduct the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra in a series of concerts featuring works by Beethoven, Franck, Mussorgsky, as well as concertos by Sibelius, Grieg, and Saint-Saëns.

Future conducting engagements will see Ottensamer returning to the Tokyo Symphony, the Aichi Chamber Orchestra, and the Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra.
