Opera Baltimore Brings Donizetti's Maria Stuarda to Life in Intimate Garrett-Jacobs Mansion Setting

Opera Baltimore will present Donizetti's Maria Stuarda at The Engineers Club at the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion with three performances beginning on February 26, 2025.

The cast includes Sarah Coit in the title role of Maria Stuarda, alongside Chelsea Lehnea as Queen Elizabeth I. Peter Drackley will play Roberto, Earl of Leicester, with Caitlin Crabill as Anna. Eric McKeever stars as Giorgio Talbot, while Eric Luis Viñas portrays William Cecil, Lord Burghley.

The production will be conducted by Husan Chun-Novak, who will also serve as pianist and chorus master. The semi-staged performance is directed by Haley Stamats.

According to the official website, the February 28 and March 2 performances are sold out, though tickets for the opening night are still available at the time of this writing.
