New Leadership at Berkshire Opera Festival: Natalie Johnsonius Neubert Appointed President and CEO

The Berkshire Opera Festival has appointed Natalie Johnsonius Neubert as its new President and CEO.

Johnsonius Neubert brings a wealth of experience in arts administration, with a strong emphasis on development and marketing. Her most recent roles include serving as Director of Development at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox for four years, followed by a three-year tenure as Executive Director of the Berkshire Music School.

Peter J. Graber-Lipperman, Chair of the Board of Directors, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, saying, "We are thrilled to welcome Natalie Johnsonius Neubert as our President and CEO. With her proven leadership in the Berkshire arts and culture scene, we are excited to work with her to grow our programs and enhance our impact within the community."

Johnsonius Neubert shared her excitement, saying, “I am honored to join the Berkshire Opera Festival during its 10th Anniversary Season. This milestone reflects BOF’s dedication to delivering exceptional opera performances that entertain, inspire, and enrich the Berkshire community. I look forward to collaborating with the Board, staff, and artists to ensure opera remains accessible to all, resonating with audiences from all walks of life.”

With 25 years of experience in arts management, Johnsonius Neubert has worked across a range of roles in programming, fundraising, and marketing for notable organizations such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Dublin International Fringe Festival, Performance Space New York, Classic Stage Company, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, The Kitchen, the Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York, LUMBERYARD/American Dance Institute, Shakespeare & Company, and the Berkshire Music School.
