In a remarkable partnership, Death of Classical, alongside Festival Napa Valley and Atout France, is thrilled to announce the presentation of “Versailles in New York,” a series of events marking the New York premiere of the Versailles Royal Opera Orchestra. The program, carefully crafted and directed by Andrew Ousley, Founder and Artistic Director of Death of Classical, promises to bring the grandeur of Versailles to the city.

On July 21, an extraordinary after-hours theatrical event titled “Versailles in Printemps: The Affair of the Poisons” will unfold at Printemps New York, a new retail and hospitality destination located at One Wall Street. This immersive experience will transport attendees into the opulent and mysterious world of Versailles.

Two days later, on July 23, the Versailles Royal Opera Orchestra will deliver a captivating performance at L’Alliance, joined by the renowned countertenor Franco Fagioli, in an event titled “Versailles at L’Alliance.” The evening will conclude with an exclusive post-performance salon at the Freeman’s | Hindman New York Auctions Townhouse, with Stefan Plewniak conducting the orchestra.

These performances are part of the Versailles Royal Opera’s inaugural North American Tour, which also includes appearances at Festival Napa Valley, as well as in Montreal and Toronto, showcasing the orchestra’s exceptional artistry across the continent.
