Teatro Carlo Felice to Present Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” This June

The Teatro Carlo Felice will launch a production of Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” on June 13, with performances continuing until June 22.

Under the baton of Giancarlo Andretta and the direction of Daniele Abbado, this rendition of the opera promises a captivating experience.

The production features set designs crafted by Lele Luzzati, costumes designed by Santuzza Calì, choreography by DEOS, and lighting created by Luciano Novelli.

The talented cast includes Antonino Arcilesi and Giovanni Augelli performing as Sarastro, Samuele Di Leo and Yiyan Gong as Tamino, Martina Saviano and Sona Gogyan as the Queen of the Night, Gabriella Ingenito and Ilaria Monteverdi as Pamina, Giada Venturini and Eleonora Marras as Papagena, and Ernesto de Nittis and Willingerd Giménez as Papageno.

Completing the ensemble are Davide Zaccherini, Timóteo Bene Júnior, Gesua Gallifoco, Silvia Caliò, Alena Sautier, Luca Romano, Gianluca Moro, and Davide Canepa.

This production of “The Magic Flute” will showcase Mozart’s timeless score, blending enchanting melodies with a whimsical narrative of love, wisdom, and adventure. The Teatro Carlo Felice’s orchestra and chorus, renowned for their precision and artistry, will support the stellar cast, ensuring a memorable interpretation of this beloved opera. Audiences can expect a visually stunning experience, with Luzzati’s imaginative sets and Calì’s intricate costumes bringing the fantastical world of the opera to life. Performances are scheduled at 8:00 PM on weekdays and 3:00 PM on weekends, with tickets available through the Teatro Carlo Felice’s official website or box office.
