The Opéra de Massy has revealed its program for the 2025-26 season, featuring a diverse range of performances.
On October 14, 2025, Héloïse Poulet, Juliette Mey, and Matthieu Walendzick will take the stage with Rodolphe Lospied for a recital featuring works by Mozart and Poulenc.
The Bach Stagioni concert, conducted by David Stern, will take place on October 16, 2025, with Thaïs Raï-Westphal, Lucas Pauchet, and Julien Ségol as soloists.
From November 7 to 9, 2025, Bizet’s opera Les Pêcheurs de perles will be conducted by Robert Tuohy and directed by Eric Perez. The cast includes Ermini Blondel, Sahy Ratia, Jérôme Boutillier, and Patrick Bolleire.
Natalie Dessay will present her Récital d’adieu on November 18, 2025, with Philippe Cassard at the piano. The program will feature pieces by Mozart, Chausson, Hahn, Ravel, Poulenc, Menotti, and Barber.
Mozart’s Don Giovanni will be performed from December 13-16, 2025, with Timothée Varon, Margaux Poguet, Marianne Croux, Abel Zamora, and Nathanaël Tavernier in the lead roles. Julien Chauvin will conduct, and Jean-Yves Ruf will direct.
On January 10-11, 2026, Leonard Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, alongside selected arias and Barcarolles, will be conducted by David Stern in a production by Elsa Rooke. The cast features Marion Vergez-Pascal, Kevin Arboleda, Cécile Madelin, Lucas Pauchet, and Max Latarjet.
From January 31 to February 1, 2026, Roméo et Juliette, Charles Gounod’s adaptation, will be conducted by Jean-François Verdier and directed by Johanna Boyé. The production stars Yu Shao, Grégoire Mour, Laurène Paternò, Clara Guillon, Léontine Maridat-Zimmerlin, Carlos Reynoso, Thimoyée Varon, and Adrien Mathonat.
Charpentier’s La descente d’Orphée will be presented on February 12 and 13, 2026, under the direction of William Christie and Les Arts Florissants. The production, directed by Marie Lambert-Le Bihan and Stéphane Facco, will feature Sarah Fleiss, Josipa Bilić, Camille Chopin, Esme Browen Smith, Tanaquil Ollivier, Richard Pittsinger, Bastien Romndi, and Will Frost.
On March 13 and 15, 2026, Janáček’s Le Journal d’un disparu and Thomas Adès’s Növenyék Vanishings will be conducted by Pascal Adoumbou and directed by Lukas Hemleb.
Ainars Rubikis will conduct an evening of Smetana, Brahms, and Elgar with Alice Coote on April 3, 2026.
Puccini’s La Bohème will be performed from April 9-11, 2026, under the baton of Constantin Rouits and directed by Roberta Mattelli. The production will feature soloists from the Compagnie Lyrique Opera 2001.
On May 9, 2026, Ambroise Divaret’s Barbe Noire will be conducted by Gena Liévano and directed by Florence Guignolet and Ambroise Divaret.
Mozart’s Exsultate, jubilate and Grande Messe will be performed by L’Atelier de Massy on May 12, 2026, conducted by Dominique Rouits.
Finally, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor will be presented on May 22 and 24, 2026. Jakob Lehmann will conduct, and Simon Delétang will direct. The cast includes Laura Ulloa, Jérôme Boutillier, Andres Agudelo, Carlos Natale, Jean-Vincent Blot, Sophie Belloir, and Jean Miannay.
