This internationally acclaimed festival has presented more than three hundred concerts and featured over 1.000 artists Canada and abroad. It celebrates the intimate art of chamber music in all its forms, presenting outstanding performers in concert and uniting established artists with emerging talent around the world. This year, the Montreal Chamber Music Festival (MCMF) features world-class artists, world premières, rising stars and some of Canada’s finest musicians in unique chamber music combinations. It aspires to attain excellence, creativity and inclusivity in all it presents.

The MCMF was founded in one thousand nine hundred ninety-fifth by its artistic director, cellist Denis Brott, recognized as one of Canada's greatest musicians.
