Following an extensive international search, The Dallas Opera (TDO) is thrilled to announce Paolo Bressan's appointment as the upcoming Chorus Director and Head of Music commencing from the 2024/2025 Season. Bressan, who has been serving as an associate conductor with TDO since 2015, showcased his talent this season by conducting Family performances of Pépito and the National Vocal Competition. Additionally, he contributed as an assistant conductor for this season’s productions of Tosca, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Elektra, and the People’s Choice Concert. Alongside his conducting roles, the Italian maestro has been actively involved as a master teacher for the Hart Institute for Women Conductors.
