The Olivier Awards recently revealed the recipients of its 2025 honors.

The Royal Ballet & Opera’s production of “Festen” emerged as a standout, claiming victories in both opera-related categories.

Composed by Mark-Anthony Turnage with a libretto by Lee Hall, this fresh work secured the titles of Best New Opera Production and Outstanding Achievement in Opera, the latter awarded to Allan Clayton for his remarkable contribution.

“Festen” debuted at the Royal Ballet & Opera to widespread acclaim.
